"See You Again" is a song past American state music artist Carrie Underwood. Information technology was written by Underwood, Hillary Lindsey, and David Hodges. "Come across You Again" tells the story of moving onwards after experiencing the expiry of a loved one in life. The lyrics provide hope and hope through Underwood's belief that 1 will reunite with every fallen loved i in the afterlife. The song's opening consists of a solo piano, followed by a backing chorus and ring kicking in shortly after.

"See You Again" was originally 1 of three songs written for the 2010 characteristic pic The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. Of the three songs that Underwood, Hodges, and Lindsey co-wrote for the film, the workers behind the projection opted to choose "In that location's a Place For Us." Underwood pushed to include "See You Again" on her fourth studio album, Blown Abroad, during the writing process of the album.

The song has received positive reviews from music critics. The song debuted at No. 60 on the US Land Airplay nautical chart for the calendar week of Apr 13, 2013,[x] and peaked at No. 2 for the chart dated September 7, 2013.[11] It entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. ninety for the nautical chart dated May xviii, 2013,[12] and peaked at No. 34 for the chart of August 31, 2013.[13] It also peaked at No.7 on the Hot Country Songs nautical chart on August 24, 2013. As of December 2013, the unmarried has sold 740,000 copies in the The states.[3]

On August 10, 2015 "See Yous Again" was officially certified equally Platinum.[four]

Live Performances [edit]

Underwood performed the song in May 2018 during an episode of American Idol in which she mentored the top five contestants.[14] The song was included in the setlist for the Cry Pretty Tour.[15]

On June 7, 2013, Proficient Morning America gave a first wait for the music video for "See You lot Again". The total video premiered soon after on ABCNews.com.[17] The music video was directed by Eric Welch.[18] It showed the aftermaths of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, the September xi attacks and the 2013 Moore, Oklahoma, tornado, along with various reunions.
